Finding LFE Tennis Club has caused some problems over the years.

Travelling from Leicester towards Hinckley on the A47:

  • Straight through the last traffic lights in Leicester Forest East (Beggars Lane & Enderby to the left bungalows on the right).
  • Continue on the A47 for approx 150M around a slight righthand bend.
  • On the right you will signs for Leicester Forest Rugby Club, Leicester Ivanhoe Cricket Club &, if you are eagle-eyed, the Tennis club too.
  • Turn right and immediate left down the access road keeping the Cricket pitch on your right
  • If you pass Old Newtonians R.F.C. you have gone 100M too far.
  • If you reach the Desford cross-roads you have gone about half a mile too far.

Travelling from Hinckley towards Leicester on the A47:

  • Straight through the Desford cross-roads traffic lights (Desford to the left, Enderby to the right).
  • continue for approx half a mile passing Old Newtonians R.F.C. on the left
  • On the left you will signs for Leicester Forest Rugby Club, Leicester Ivanhoe Cricket Club &, if you are eagle-eyed, the Tennis club too.
  • Turn left and immediate left again down the access road keeping the Cricket pitch on your right
  • If you reach the next set of traffic lights (Beggars Lane & Enderby to the right, bungalows on the left) you have gone about 150M too far.

Travelling from Enderby along Beggars Lane:

  • At the traffic lights (A47 to Leicester on the right) turn left onto the A47 towards Hinckley.
  • Continue on the A47 for approx 150M around a slight righthand bend.
  • On the right you will signs for Leicester Forest Rugby Club, Leicester Ivanhoe Cricket Club &, if you are eagle-eyed, the Tennis club too.
  • Turn right and immediate left down the access road keeping the Cricket pitch on your right
  • If you pass Old Newtonians R.F.C. you have gone 100M too far.
