Adult Competitive Tennis
LFE boasts a number of teams competing in various leagues throughout the summer and winter, at junior, senior and Vets levels. Most adult (including Vets) league matches are doubles, however if singles is more for you we also enter teams into the AEGON Team Tennis competition allowing you to play both singles and doubles matches.
With a range of teams competing in leagues across the county and some further afield you can be sure that whatever your age and standard of play we will have a team to accommodate you.
At LFE we have 6 Mens Teams, 4 Ladies Teams, 3 Mixed Teams, 1 Mens Vets Team (age 45 & above), 4 Ladies Vets Teams (age 40 and above) and 1 Mens SuperVets (age 60 and above).

Adult Social Tennis and Coaching
LFE boasts a number of very successful teams and many members get great enjoyment from the competitive tennis available at the club but it isn’t for everyone and it isn’t the whole story.
‘Open’ Social Tennis
Every Wednesday evening and Saturday afternoon there is open social play on offer to members. No need to book in advance just turn up an play. Some of the sessions are facilitated by the coaching team some are simply social mix-in and play sessions.
‘Arranged’ Social Tennis
There are arranged 4’s, 8’s and even 12’s going on much of the time. Obviously, it isn’t always possible for a new member to slot into these sessions immediately as they are by invitation. However, when you join the club you will almost certainly find other members of similar standard who will be as keen to play with you as you are with them.
Adult Group Coaching
The coaches run a number of sessions for groups of adults. They vary in time from during the working day to late evening. If you are looking for something to suit your standard and availability please contact the GSM coaches.
